Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

I have a good idea about the cleanness of railway platform while the train is in station and toilets are still in use by the passenger, for that we can put a container or and cotton bag in bottom of the train and the all waste materials will be contain by that and when the train starts the reaches the outer area then containers will automatically opened and the waste materials will flushed down in outer side of the station and our platform will be clean always.i have project description(thanku)

Whenever any train is scheduled to come on any boarding platform a message should come before 2 hour with current expected time to reach at boarding point to travelers on their provided phone numbers. In this way we can manage heavy burden on platforms as so many people don’t have access of internet.

Is there a Process to deal with Lots of Dead Work Contracts in Dept., pending due to various reasons ? Shouldn't they be dealt with appropriately as every time these works may be allocated with some Funds and since they are Dead, There will be no process or expenditure, Thus causing inappropriate allocation of funds to non-Priority works rather than to Top Priority of funds and causing decreased productivity of various departments in Railways ? Kindly do something on this issue.

strip of nails have been applied there which grows over the road level at the time when gate is close the size of nails should be large to stop the car or vehicles....this is necessary because today's busy never want to be wait and invite an accident

placing of announcement systems near unmanned level crossing, OR we can place automatic sirens, as soon as it detects approaching of a train it will start the siren similar to factory sirens

An automated system which can keep a track of real time location of the train which should automatically open and close the gate whenever the train is approaching at a particular gate. The gates can close when the train is 'x' km from the gate and can open when the train passes and covers 'y' meters post the gate. The other interface of the system can be with the train driver to indicate the un-manned gate in the path and that gate's closure / open status at that point in time.
