The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources. India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica. Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower. Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Good skill is developed through sound grounding in theory imparted through classroom and intense practical exposure and working with hands for 1to 2 years. This model is being successfully adopted in AUSTRALIA and Known as TAFE. This is true for mining Industry too.

SIR THEIR SHOULD BE A BAR-CODE STICKER ON EVERY FILE OF THE GOVT INSTITUTION, GOVT BODY,MUNICIPAL CORPORATION,GOVT COMAPANY ETC. SO THAT THE GOVT CAN KNOW WHERE THE FILE IS AND WHO IS WORKING ON IT, AND HOW LONG IT REMAIN WITH THE GOVT EMPLOYEE TO TAKE ANY DECISION, BECAUSE OF THIS THE DECISION CAN BE TAKEN ACCURATELY AND WITHOUT ANY BRIBE OR CORRUPTION. AND THE PROCESS CAN BECOME FAST.

India has about 15 million deaf people. Deaf people have same IQ as general public, but their skills are not utilized due to communication barriers. They can be included in the mainstream if they have access to quality k-12 and higher education. It is important that India train lakhs of sign language interpreters. Indian Sign Language Research and Training Center was created in the 11th 5th Year Plan. however, it is sitting in MSJE's files. It must be activated immediately.

Dear Sir, In India private companies are not give salary according to skills.In cities like Delhi,NCR minimum salary starts from 8k.I don't think people fulfill their needs in this salary.If young people want to start their own company but they didn't have much amount then how people start their company.Government should think about job creators.One more thing Government should change their company registration policy.If people live in rented house then we face many problem.

Emphasis should be shifted from bookish knowlegde to implementation of knowledge. training for skill devlopment should be given for more productive man power.
