In India it is impossible to banned polyethens but we can recycle it. Government should collect polyethens from every house, shops and colonies without any charges and send them for recycling. We can impose fine on throwing polyethens & tobacco and toffee rappers. Government should ask shopkeepers to put dustbins in front of their shop and making their responsibility that rappers must be thrown in dustbin. We can bann burning of polyethen waste.

There are floods in kosi, brahmaputra and other himalayan rivers, but drought in southcentral, south, central, western India. From high altitude himalayan dams, water can be taken to other river basins through aqueducts with low cost and no land acquisition hassles easily for thousands of kilometers north india to south, west india as a part of river connecting. Takes time but huge benefit is there.should be included in NITI aayog. But Dams on himalayas are needed first .

Instead use special filters (already being used in bangalore), and use it for domestic purposes. Or else where space is problem in cities for small house plots, they can let rainwater into dried up borewell.(fix filter artificial or natural before letting it as we should not pollute groundwater)Usually rainwater is pure
