With due Respect , I am not against development of my city i.e. Belgavi formerly known as Belgaum, but while I thinking about this, that reminded me of many people in India still cannot afford basic amenities for their survival.First you should be focusing on that and than when each Indian has his own house, food to eat and a job to earn his living . And talking about smart city we as the citizens will tAke over this responsibility.

POONAM PATIL, KLECET MTECH ENVIRONMENT solution: -Make every industry, academic institute, govrnment premises, mandatory to plant & grow minimum 50 plants into trees and provide incentive/subsidy if done so. -Every student should take initiative to plant trees roadsides and measures to be taken by Government and people to water them and grow them -people who have big bungalow and gardens for their leisure must also plant and grow trees around their houses -don't unnecessarily cut trees
