I personally believe that a city turns smart when its ecology turns smart.
I feel that we must have a green belt across the city. The trees around on the both sides of the road.
Every area/locality must have a park/garden with a digital library having access to high speed internet connections with 24/7 wi-fi.
A city with rich natural resource of renewable energy( solar, wind, hydro or anything).
24/7 water supply and water recycling centre.

1) the clean and hygienic drinking water facility should be provided at public places like play grounds. eg: lele ground, depot ground etc
2)sulabh souchalaya must be constructed for both men and women. pay and use will be best as they will be maintained .
3)proper roads. Eg : road from 4th gate to 3rd gate is at its worst condition. going to college is such a task..
4)the most important one ie dustbins.. they should be situated for every 50 mts.

Planning on all issues as discussed and shared by my fellow belgaumites with a Vision for the next 500 years. Accountability and transperancy in all Govt and corporation projects is really needed to build trust among people. A neutral body including localities to monitor local projects may see some better results.Belagavi needs a Vision in waste management, traffic management, strict implementation of rules in new projects.
