In my humble opinion the Govt. of India should design and start a Diploma and Degree Courses to become Tourist Guides in all the State and Central Universities. Those Guides passing out must be recruited by the department and their services offered to Foreign Tourists free of Cost. All these Degree or Diploma Holder Tourist Guides names to be listed on Departmental website so that they can be contacted from anywhere by the Tourists.I think an Improvement on this Idea will help earn foreign Ex

NRI with their knowledge of other countries and people can help develop tourism in India. Perhaps they can be invited to help develop "My Village", "My City" MY State" as attractive destination for foreign travelers. We need to have international brain-storming sessions and workshops on tourism.

there are so many divya kshetrams for eg: 1) 108 divya kshetrams 2) 108 shakti sthalls 3) 108 shiva kshetrams in main and so many other deities. So many pilgrims are interested to c all these but could not due to no systematic route maps with road ways, train ways, air ways and no perfect boardings and lodgings. Had these sufficient, 200% the entire world will flow through our tourism. Hindu temples attracts entire world's eye. but its due to inconvenience so many are not visiting holy shrines

HON'BLE PMJI, Endowments Department has become a monopoly, Its time to scrap the Law of Endowments and create a new law which makes the H H JEEYAR SWAMY's and SEERS as the Heads. Where there is hundi, there EO's are landing and where no hundi is there, there they are doing NOTHING. Their salaries shall be beared by GOVT but not hundi's. If this AMOUNT is used for developing TEMPLEs thats fine. When the law is not touching other religious mosques or churches y should temples have unique law

Andaman and Nicobar islands should be developed as tourist hot spots on the lines of Thailand. They are close to Thailand and have the potential to attract millions of tourists from Thailand. Moreover, they are risk free unlike J&K and eastern india.
