Every Tourist Centre will have many local people living in those areas. They might be from middle class, upper middle class and the rich. The local panchayats must ask for those locals who are willing to share a room with either a foreign or indian tourist. The tariffs for such paid accomodation can be decided by the local host. The government must publish a database of all those locals who are willing to share their house with the tourists. By this the locals can earn a livelihood.

India has a lot to offer to the visitors of the world but I don't feel the enthusiasm of the people in the respective departments to play their part in getting the tourists. Thanks to our respected PM to ease out the VISA issues but that's just the beginning. A lot needs to be done further. In Delhi, state regulated clean cabs, well trained drivers & licensed tour guides can be the next step. More participation from the young is required in decision making process.
