Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

5 Ways to Fix India: 1. Make politicians live like the voters. When Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the AK Party came to power, the country was ruled by military elites, and regular people had to lump it. But Erdogan decided to change the country's political and economic future by changing the mindset of its leaders.

Hello Sir, Our government is doing really great jobs and since a long there is one option DIC(DISTRICT INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION) where lots of different schemes are available, but our youth is unaware about all those details and govt is not looking into that area. Just because of that people even having ideas can't execute because of shortage of money , which can be easily solved with DIC. If govt can notify different people for it will be a great help.

How can the government really help the middle class people in getting a home at an affordable rate? Currently most of the transaction in the middle income houses are basically investors who drive up the rates so high that it becomes next to impossible for a genuine buyer to buy a house in almost all cities in India. Can the government bring in some form of tax or interest relief for 1st time buyer.

For married people, income tax filing should be combined with spouse instead of putting under single head though income will be used by entire family. As house wife 's puts lot of effort in home making which can not be quantify in terms of money, there should be right for them in spouse earnings and also in tax filing

Dear Sir, We have created a user friendly system for Crime monitoring system which can be implemented in a weeks time, but as a Startup we cannot progress further as we dont have proper contacts to show our works. Is there a possibility we can demo our system at national level ? Also as America has a system called as work for America, we can also have a system called as Work for India, this will help all small Startups to deliver excellent work at national level. Thank You
