Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

It could be of much useful if it has a display with memory storage with the list of items present, its worth, photo and the details of transaction in user's digital card itself, and mobile message intimation similar to bank ATM card with slight improvements. The same information will be stored in central database as well. This will surely help the people to keep their belongings safe & secure. The dual storage information helps owner to claim/verify things in locker on theft, misuse, retrieve, emergency.

Retail Stores are cheating the customers. Products (Like Electronic goods) are same but the prize is differed based on retailers some times based on customers. It can be solved through new website (Best Prize). Through this website all customers can upload his bill with product information, retailer name and prize. So if one new customer check the product it will show him a best prize and retailer name and address. By doing this all retailers will sale the product with same prize.

Digital India is a great concept. Let all functions truly deliver digital. For example Print Media - In this age of Information still we need to depend more on print media to reach the distant readers where no facility of internet or electronic medium are available. So, it would be a mission to transform India to a digital India so that more cost effective services can reach to the masses. Some device installed at every home to deliver news paper electronically would be truly digital.

Part 5 Delivery There may be apprehension that if someone else write the unique code to his/her letter. To address this user may be required to write the unique code & Pin code on the letter. No address will write on the packet. At delivery post office ,packet will be scanned for Q code or concerned person will input the Unique number & take the print of delivery address and paste on the packet Scanning code will also confirm that same number is not used for other packet /letter.
