Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

Hello Sir. In metro cities life support vehicles like (ambulances, fire brigades) get stuck near traffic signals a lot. If we can fit a GPS sensor onto these vehicles and put the receiver at each traffic post, then whenever any vehicle is within 500 mts of the post, an alarm will sound so that people can make way for the vehicle, thus creating kind of a green corridor. There can be a law that whenever the alarm sounds, people have to get to the left of the road, just like people stop at red.

Dear Sir Aaj maine news paper mein padha ki 2019 tak INDIA mein sabse jyada smart phon hoge. India mein sabse jyada out of country mobile aate hai. I have lots of plan for it. hum har smartphone user se 10 rs jama karke ek mobile company establish karke apple samsung ko takkar denge. Please think about it.

There should be an official page of each and MP on Facebook as well as an official channel on YouTube wherein they should upload their monthly progress vis-a-vis their constituency, i.e., each MP should post the works undertaken in his/her constituency, the progress, expenditure incurred, etc., and video of the projects undertaken. Normally, one has no idea what the MP from his/her constituency has been doing apart from what happens in the Parliament. This step should take care of that.
