Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

Tourism means a where had some historical ,religious and cultural importance .In my view first infrastructure should be strong for attract tourist.second law and order has strict and feel tourist safe.third Rural mentality should be changed and care tourist in village.foutrh advertising campaign should be launched for know about tourist place.

Villages can be a good getaway for people who are having a hectic life or people who wish to learn different cultures or explore livings of people. With proper sanitation facilities, roads, access to internet, living in a village can be a good 2-3 days trip.

गांव हमारा घर कैसा है गांव को गंदा नहीं करना चाहिए गांव में हर जगह कूड़ेदान का उपयोग करना चाहिए

'गांव' शब्द में एक अलग ही एहसास है जब हम इसे अपने मुख से बोलें या दूसरे के मुख से सुनें। गांव के परिपेक्ष्य में पर्यटन की बात करें तो हमें सबसे पहले उसकी सरंचना व आधारभूत सुविधाओं पर विशेष ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है जिसमें सड़क, बिजली, पानी से लेकर हर एक गांव में पंचायत घर (प्रत्यक्ष रूप में) व उसमें आम सुविधाएं (पानी, शौचालय, प्रकाश, व विद्युतीकरण, पंखा इत्यादि जैसी आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं) के साथ सुरक्षा व्यवस्था हो जिससे पर्यटक वहां कम से कम एक रात गुजार सकें। फिर देखिए मेरे देश में पर्यटक ही पर्यटक

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री हमको गांवों में तालाब खुदवाने होंगे और उन तालाबों के बाहरी भाग में रिवर फ्रंट का निर्माण करना होगा, और हमारे गांव में तांलाबो कें सांथ साथ चेरि फ्लावर जो कि जापान में पाए जाते हैं वह वृक्ष लग वाने होगें जिस से किं वहा टूरिसम बडेगां यह प्रयोग ऑफ अरुणाचल प्रदेश राज्य मैं भी कर सकते हैं

गांव में किसानों के समूह बनाकर उनके खेतों में विभिन्न किस्मों के उद्यान फल और सब्जी का उत्पादन एवं वही सीधे खेत से सब्जी फल लेने की सुविधा पक्की सड़कें ग्रामीण झोपड़ी नुमा रुकने के स्थान की व्यवस्था से लोगों का आकर्षण स्वयं बढ़ेगा क्योंकि गांव में खुली हवा व शांतिप्रिय माहौल में जाना अधिकतर पर्यटकों को पसंद है

"भारत वर्ष गांवों में बसता है" लोकल से वोकल और आत्मनिर्भर भारत के नीति को फॉलो करते हुए किसी विलेज के इच्छुक विलेजर के घर को हट/स्टे होम/लाउंज प्रोजेक्ट के रूप में डेवलपमेंट किया जाना चाहिए। जिससे रोजगार भी उतपन्न होगा। और ग्राम का विकास भी होगा।
