Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

North east state have great potential for tourism people going outside india, like Fiji, Malaysia, Indonesia, maldives, srilanka, and even Singapore all these reasons for tourism can easily develop in all Northeast states and we can gain the loss of money going outside India

हिमाचल प्रदेश के बिलासपुर जिले के गोविंद सागर झील पर्यटन की दृष्टि से बहुत ही सुंदर है और इस दिल में निकलने वाले सांडू मैदान मे राजा आनंद चंद के मंदिर बहुत ही अद्भुत है

I think the best way to improve torousim in rural areas is to create the curiosity and that motive behind visiting villages .This can be seen useful in way we go to Taj Mahal for its beauty we have been hearing about since long. This step can start from school children by telling them the beauty of villages and they will surely try to do their best for improvement in villages because it is not only government to participate in its development,we first have to begin the journey.

Sir, I want to say about Rural areas. People are cutting trees and making those beautiful into concrete jungle. Tourism grow when those beautiful sceneries be as it is. Foreigners coming to india to see the greenery. They like to spend to visit most beautiful places formed by natural way. So we have to preserve our green treasury. India is more recognized by Modiji,.Your efforts are highly dedicated to the whole country.

As we all know india is a country of villagesand most of the places in those isolated rural areas can leave you in an awe.Most of the places in himachal pradesh,uttarakhand and in meghalaya are not even known to tourists.In order to attract the people in those areas central govt. with state govt., ngo's and with local support should organise festivals and events. To promote and link the events with the country govt. should invite most of the travel bloggers,youtuber ,which will be a great way.

1. Need to explore the infrastructure at ground level. 2. Need to explore the connectivity of that are by AIR,RAIL AND ROAD. 3. Need monthly meetings by tourism department with the stakeholder at Block level,Distt Level and than state level . 4. After meeting need to make some members who can give their time to focus on tourism with government at tourism minister and secretary level.

Location 20km away from sanctuary or PA border 1. Decent stay inside, but camouflaged to surrounding. 2. Training of village youth (both gender) as interpreters, guide, care takers, caterer 3. development and maintenance of sacred groves in or near the village, with history in 1-2 pages 4. Face-lift to campuses in the villages like those of school, temple, pond, approach to cultivation field, orchards, well and other water-harvesting structures.

India is well known for its natural beauty especially in the villages, but we ourselves are not aware about many places. The state should promote the hidden beauty of places lying in the interior parts. Arrange better infrastructure facilities to attract tourists.
