At present there seems to be very little chance of promoting rural tourism. At the best the villages on way to tourist spots may be promoted to sell their produce like mangoes gouva tender palm (Nungu) tender coconuts whichever is available by taking the tourists to those villages .To improve a village a small manufacturing unit to produce some house hold requirements which are now imported may be created at government cost with full technical support and training for the local population

Encourageing agri tourism, like makeing people see the local farm practices and get to know from where people are getting their grains. Homestays should also be encouraged. Government could develop some recreational activity zones outside the city in a nearby village which may give tourism a push.

Identify Historical villages, connecting with road, air, railway and waterways. Every spot directly observed by high level offers like D M. Safty is priority for every tourist. Give special attention and pakages for these places.Local foods recipes recognize and scientifically certified. Local area awareness for tourism should be important. Advertising why you will come here? Develop Banking, networking, fooding and leaving facilities and safty management. Maintain Historical buildings

-Let it be a partnership between Panchayat and individuals willing to promote tourism.
- develop good infrastructure like roads, electricity, toilets, phone and net connectivity but otherwise leave the ambience.
- Preserve the nativity and culture of the place and promote the place as it is instead of converting them to 'resorts'
- the local cuisine, textiles, folklore, music and dance can be archived and showcased.
- local teachers and senior citizens can be included as partners
