Every year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day. This year the theme of World Tourism Day is Tourism and Rural Development. Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours. Tourism has proven to be a lifeline for many rural communities. The sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for territorial cohesion and socio-economic inclusion for even the most remote regions.
Our villages and the people who live there are a true custodians and manifestation of our culture.
As we work towards more sustainable development of our country, developing related hard and soft infrastructure and promoting tourism in rural India is much required.

Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with MyGov invites you to share your views ideas on Rural India- How it can leverage tourism.

Provision should be made to enable tourists to observe rural artisans at work (without disturbing them) and to learn skills from them in their spare time (e.g., pottery, bangle making, animal rearing etc.). This will help encourage tourism and supplement rural income.

🙏 In present situation, We take a pledge about How to improve our Standard of Living with Earnings source, I request to Authority about Creation of "Earning Source Idea Portal" Kindly suggest to colleagues about How to minimize expenses and How to generate earning source, innovative ideas pertaining things post on said portal, it helpful to needy person.🙏

actually its a good idea.but government encourage the local skills..and local tradition.and also improve the basic infrastructure which is necessity to the rural peoples.

मॉडल कृषि गांव हर तहसील के एक गांव में समन्वित कृषि एवं आधुनिक कृषि का मॉडल तैयार किया जाय जिससे आसपास के किसान व हर व्यक्ति उस मॉडल गांव को देखने आय।। उस गांव में कृषि एवम तकनीकी ज्ञान का भरपूर उपयोग किया जाय। वा उस इलाके के समस्त उन्नत किस्मो को मिश्रित खेती कर उगाया जाये । जहा पशुपालन मछली पालन कुक्कुट पालन सिचाई के लिये तालाब व सौर ऊर्जा का उपयोग उस सिचाई पध्दतियों में किया जाना चाहिए।।साथ मे गांव के बीचों बीच एक गार्डन का निर्माण व उसका सौन्दर्यकरन किया जाना सुनिश्चित किया जाये किसानपुत्र

गांवों की स्पेशलीस्ट देकर गांव को ट्रूरिस्ट स्पोट बनया जा सकता है जैसे जहां पहाड़ है वहां एनीमल पर्क बना कर जहां वर्षा होती है वहां तालाब बनाकर उसमें मत्स्य और बतक हंस रखकर सुंदरता बढाई जा सकती है। बगीचा लाग कर सुंदर पेड़ों और फलों के पेड़ लगकर
