The man who taught us that In a gentle way, you can shake the world, beginning his new innings with his 150th birth anniversary. He has left the legacy of teachings of morality, self-sufficiency, forgiveness, non-violence and satyagraha, etc behind him. Now, as the world is rapidly developing and growing in different dimensions , there are some areas which needs to be concerned for sustainable and inclusive development .

With these pedagogies in understanding, Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti invites you here at this digital platform for an open and free flowing discussion where you can share and discuss your valuable ideas.
These ideas can be further utilized by Samiti in conducting different programmes dedicated to mark the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi.

Easier said than done!Grassroot level as Gandhiji always emphasized on but we have forgotten the core teachings with the ways and means he suggested for sarvodaya and gramodaya. I as a teacher, keeping his basic teachings with his style of propagation in mind, would suggest to have Gandhian values' classes in schools which have to be mandatory for all type of schools. Children are the foundation of this nation: Gandhi k sapno ka Bharat.

Whole India celebrates birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, someone who lead us to our freedom, with great enthusiasm. He was someone who promoted Indian goods over foreign goods by promoting khadi. What I believe now is the time when we all should move towards our Indian goods, which are made in India itself. What is happening is that cotton is exported from here and then made clothes are imported from other countries. Thus we should take measures so that our textile industries can prosper again
