Food – Locate the nearest Amma Unavagam
Chennai city has Amma Unavagams in each of the 200 wards of the Chennai Corporation, which is very popular. It would be good if we can help people locate the nearest Amma Unavagam, by building a mobile app (similar to the OLA app) which will show the nearest Amma Unavagam within 500 metres from anywhere in the city. For non-smart phones, a simple sms message like “AMMA UNAVAGAM 600040” should give a list of location of all ammam unavagams in that pincode

Sanitation – Locate the nearest Public toilet
Summary: Chennai city suffers from people urinating in public places.. if we can help them locate the nearest public toilet, then this can be reduced and prevented. This can be done by building a mobile app (similar to the OLA app) which will show the nearest public toilet within 500 metres from anywhere in the city. For non-smart phones, a simple sms message like “TOILET 600040” should give a list of location of all public toilets in that pincode

I suggest, a city with pollution is said to be a smart city. We need oxygen to live. If a person travel in mount road in peak hour will hate his life like anything.
Air pollution is the major issue in Chennai city. Govt should take necessary action to control the air pollution. Mainly from Motor Vechiles.
Like mandatory helmet, there should be a law for controlling pollution from Vechicles.
