Plan should focus on facilitating urban planners to identify and prioritise the potential "Quiet Urban Areas" of the city, as well as defining the criteria for the design of these calm urban spaces.

Smart City actions include, among other initiatives: the reorganisation of the urban mobility scheme with a new bridge and access ways; the transformation of the old quarter into a pedestrian area; the creation of a new "zero emissions" district; and the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, to reduce of the city's emissions by at least 30%.

Chennai is a smart city in its own way..but let us make it more smarter.The Digital India term is revolutionizing the entire country now.In that context i Have a proposal for automating the several applications and certificate corrections(for example..birth certificate corrections) that is taking out a plenty of our time currently and also making us to take runs to the respective departments to get our work completed.This will surely help in making smart Chennai.
