An SMS reminder to citizens informing/updating them about their power consumption in their houses. Say for eg. we know that for a domestic consumer if he exceeds 500 units power consumption the tariff rate would increase per unit (i hope people know), so at that time when the power consumption is nearing 500 units ,TANGEDCO or CoC could send a SMS reminder about the situation so that the consumers become alert in the coming days. This will also help in saving power and also consumer's money.

1. select a handful of prime areas (where traffic is heavy, garbage/sewage accumulations are high etc) covering a considerable land area which also have major sanitation problems.
2. Identify improvement areas in each of the prime area identified and plan individually for each area addressing its own merits and demerits. (Example: provide sewage/garbage treatment plants, construct sidebar on the road to organize traffic effectively etc)
3. Provide linkages between the prime areas selected

1) All profesionnal educations like MBBS, Engineering etc should be purely government driven with strict norms in place. The institution should guarantee quality professionals with real capabilities graduating out every year. Not more than 10% of the current professional graduate population coming out each year to ensure quality of education. And the 10% of professional population should be selected purely on merit basis.
2) All private hospitals to be undertaken by state government.

the most important aspect of a smart city is to promote public participation, even i came to know about this only by reading a small column in the hindu newspaper so the corporation must publicly announce the events and agendas that it is involved in to everyone by either through social media like facebook, whatsapp, news channels, the corporation should come forward to conduct public competitions like
1.app creation
2.IT solutions
3.implement innovative pilot projects&provide suitable prizes
