iv. The drivers should be trained to stop at designated stoppages only. Presently, the buses are seen to pick passengers from almost anywhere, even in the middle of road and in the middle of crossings. A team to check such errant drivers, and give punishment should be made and development of an online web portal to enable active citizens to lodge complaints for errant drivers with photo and video uploading facility and effective addressal system for the same.

iii. Increase in the frequency to the level of a bus every 3 to 5 mins on arterial routes, which is uncertain presently 5 mins to even upto 30 mins, which leads to utter conjestion. The level of conjestion can easily be ascertained by CCTV working across the city on scheduled basis

A. There is a lack in both quantum as well as frequency of public transport system i.e. city buses. Most of the people are compelled to use their own vehicles because of the hassle involved, however followings need to be considered:
i. Increase in no. of buses to a level so as to provide a seat to all commuters through realistic assessment. Presently, the number of city buses far less than the required level.
ii. Discover more routes by systematic assessment.

1. Clean city: at all the public places a garbage bucket with a polythene be installed. A full
time workforce be employed to ensure its maintenance. The existing waste disposal
plant be made functional and also the sewage treatment plant, so that no untreated
waste is dumped in Gomti.
