For the draft Lucknow Smart City Proposal the citizen feedbacks received were analysed and based on which a citizen centric plan was formulated. As part of citizen engagement & consultation process, Lucknow Municipal Corporation arranged a wide range of activities in different platforms to enable contribution of citizens- eg: zone wise consultation, essay competition, vision statement competition, twitter, facebook, online google forms, MyGov. Polls and discussion etc. based on the suggestions received vision, goals and the projects were identified.

1. Keep all streets hawker free. 2. Proper zebra crossings and proper working traffic lights at every crossing. 3. Segregation of slow moving and fast moving traffic on major roads. 4.emphasis on use of solar energy for power. 5. Phasing out of old and high emitting vehicles. 6.24 hour power supply. 7. Covering of all open drains and nalas. 8. Eradication of stray animals from roads. 9. Stricter laws for cleanliness, public eminities, providing awareness to people to keep the city clean.

More trees be planted and heritage bldgs. Parks, Talab be improved. Flower beds be made for beautification.Remote control devices be used to light up and switch of the street and office lights automatically. Condition of roads, pathways be improved. One way traffic system be applied, Electric and cable wires be under ground. Connecting wires too must be under ground.

Honesty, discipline always flow from top to bottom like water. If top layer of ministers and officers are honest and discipline, the subordinates will automatically honest and discipline. it should be kept in mind. proper manpower be engaged for necessary and appropriate work. Supervision be done at every step.

Roads should be made in the way no holes get created on them. Drainage system must be improved so that water logging can be prevented.Garbage must not be thrown on the outskirts of the city instead must be treated or recycled.There should be public toilets in markets,near park or other social places. Every 'choraha' must have a traffic policeman to control the traffic.There must be enough parking spaces in markets.The garbage-pickers must pickup the garbage daily.Network problems must be solved.

Dalali, Vasuli, corruption etc be stopped. Punctuality in all offices be maintained.Passport offices have adopted a new system. Others must also start the same system in the offices etc. court cases be dealt very fast. Quick action be taken against defaulters. City should be free of theft, pick pocketers,picketers, beggars, street dogs, cattle, proper road direction indicators needed. Drains be cleaned and covered.

proper traffic lights which should be fully functioning and there should be ristricted traffic rules and if no one obeys them strict actions must made immediately like fining charge,etc.all the roads and places must be cleaned and if any one dirties the place he/she should be penalized.the number of ladies police should increase for the security of women.

All the electrical wires should be underground. Uniformity in the parking rates across the city. Special arrangements should be done for disable people for mobilty. Safe and Secure Environment for Women and Children. Greenery along roadside. Public Utilities and Washrooms. Strict rules for cleanliness of city.

Only DM, Commissioner, DGP, Judges, Governor, Chief Minister, Cabinet ministers Chief Secretary.should be treated as VIPs and VVIPs. Rests be treated a Public servants and no X,Y,Z, Suraksha be with them to make them more responsible for public services.Purchase of cars be allowed to those only who have space/garages/porticos etc for car in their houses.Tempos,autos, buses should be allowed to carry prescribed nos. of passengers.Fares be displayed in all transports and staff be in dress on duty.
