For the draft Lucknow Smart City Proposal the citizen feedbacks received were analysed and based on which a citizen centric plan was formulated. As part of citizen engagement & consultation process, Lucknow Municipal Corporation arranged a wide range of activities in different platforms to enable contribution of citizens- eg: zone wise consultation, essay competition, vision statement competition, twitter, facebook, online google forms, MyGov. Polls and discussion etc. based on the suggestions received vision, goals and the projects were identified.

1. Traffic lights strictly need to be followed. 2. Industries and it hubs are very important as it will give employment to our youth as well as it will give some oppurtunity to the colleges situated in the city for evevn better placements of their students. It can indirectly make our city an education hub. 3.

It would be better if all the roads were well constructed as they are one of the major reasons for road accidents. If stores like big bazar and spencers were denied to sell poly bags and would have to sell paper bags, that would also be great for the environment.

we can make our city unblemished by shrinking the usuage of polyethene plastic bags by reconstituting them with paper or cloth bags..so nawabs of lucknow gear up!

ALL HI RISE APARTMENTS AND GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS SHOULD BE DESIGNED KEEPING DISABLED PEOPLE AND SENIOR CITIZENS IN MIND. IT SHOULD BE EASILY ACCESSIBLE TO THEM AND INCASE OF ANY NATURAL CALAMITY , FIRE OR IN MEDICAL EMERGENCIES THEY CAN GET SAFE PASSAGE AND RESCUED .

1. Proper waste management. awareness is a must because wherever people find an isolated place they tend to throw waste. One should rather say..proper management of domestic waste. If landfill method of dumping waste is used..it should be proper with alternate layering of waste and soil. 2. Traffic management. Design period of the existing roads seem to have expired now for city has now a huge no. of vehicles and no. of roads and their width now seem to be insufficient.

I want better drainage system and the city to be clean and animals home for stray dogs and cows. At last I want greener with more trees and pollution free and safety for ladies and girls

Lucknow is the city of Nawabs, so it should be cleaned properly. Traffic rules should be followed by all. The government should focus on the safety of girls and women, so that the could move freely with their full enthusiasm. Specially the rules for the high authority or for a common man should be same.

To make Lucknow a Smart City, work should be done on providing easy public transport like metro, removing traffic bottlenecks, widening roads, providing parking spaces for large number of vehicles in public places, regular disposal of garbage and bring down air pollution levels. Technology can help regulating traffic in assuring regular garbage removal and their proper disposal. Proving internet and free wifi to all sections of the society would also help bridge the digital divide.
