For the draft Lucknow Smart City Proposal the citizen feedbacks received were analysed and based on which a citizen centric plan was formulated. As part of citizen engagement & consultation process, Lucknow Municipal Corporation arranged a wide range of activities in different platforms to enable contribution of citizens- eg: zone wise consultation, essay competition, vision statement competition, twitter, facebook, online google forms, MyGov. Polls and discussion etc. based on the suggestions received vision, goals and the projects were identified.

For your reference and due consideration a brief snapshot of the proposal, capturing all details of the Lucknow Smart City Proposal can be accessed through the link given below. We invite all the citizen of Lucknow to share their valuable and specific brief suggestions to help us make a Citizen Aligned Smart City Proposal.

Smart policing-Security is one of the most important thing i believe there should be an app made by Lucknow police which should have feature like SOS where if a person is threatened he is immediately get in touched with the central police just at a click of the button and police to track down his location and immediate action as soon as possible.This app should also be provided separately by 1090 for womens safety and also be linked with fb and other social platform #SmartCity #Lucknow #MyGov

Hello Everyone, I am Raunak Motiyani studying at St. Francis College in class --IID. My suggestion for making lucknoe a smart city are--- i) -- Proper Drainage System--we people are suffering from environment drawbacks and current exam pleb in front of us is Chennai. ii ) -- Clean Lucknow Campaign --People's should be educated to keep city clean by Nukkad dramas and plays. Proper fine management should be followed. III) --Water and Electricity Dept should be privatize.

Implementation of Electronic Health File record of city's residents linking with their aadhar card.Its very important coz a #SmartCity should be healthy first.Setting up of health portal to provide online health consultation, healthcare knowledge sharing etc.is must it will help childrens,senior citizen's and also promote healthy environment and may also decrease load on sarkari hospital systematically.

Dear Sir, I am P A Cariappa, I am very happy that "Lucknow" is considered for Smart city, proposal, but there is a problem in each and every sector such as 1) Education Sector. 2) Employment Sector. 3) Road and Transportation Sector. 4) Electricity Sector. 5) Rain water harvesting. 6) Sanitation Sector. 7) Health Care Sector. 8) Public and Administration Sector. 9) Corruption free government. I am Aditri Mishra, student of class III B (Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow). My suggestions for Smart City Lucknow are; i- To free the city from beggars with their child in hand and prevent child labour also. ii- There should be proper drainage system in the city to avoid water logging during rainy season. iii- Traffic management especially during peak hours is very important.

All hoardings from the city should be removed for clear view for public to avoid accidents. Big buses plying inside conjusted areas should ply outside city. Illigal encroahments should be held responsible to police concerned. Vehicles before 10 years of registration should be banned.
