Resp. Sir, I have wrote about my city Ratia. City Under Threat. The threat is hepatitis "C" Water is not flowing under the bridge of Ghaggar and the water is at its peak worst level. There is stake under the bridge and the bad water is going down in the earth and water giving us Hepatitis "C". Please send some one to see our problem. Indian railways being the largest one in Asia, it is highly under-maintained. The condition of the railway stations is pity, unspeakable and can't be expressed. Inside trains, compartments wouldn't be provided with dustbins. Manual scavenging is ridiculous, inhumane and unethical. One being a human being, how can they expect a fellow human being to clean the human excreta? Is it justice or ethical- just think?! This issue has to be addressed keeping in mind of health & hygiene. BIO-TOILETS- SOLN

For the development of a village, the public buildings like school, hospital, post office, veterinary department etc should be made neat and clean, after proper repairs and refurbishing. The lacal villagers, netas of nearby villages and district administration should take part in such process. The villagers should build water tank, piped water in each house be given and sanitary system should made available in each house. At present the local politics have divided villagers to different group.

Again we started our cleaning drive in laxmi nagar. We also made people aware about cleaning and its benefits. We also told its effects on health and we got a positive response from people of laxmi nagar. This was our third sunday that we cleaned this area and wil keep on doing it in the future.

I am very passionate about cleanliness and am happy that our PM considers it a priority. Where i differ is his approach to solve the problem. Cleaning the streets with a broom is not the solution. We need a proper infrastructure to develop proper waste disposal system. Unfortunately nothing that sort exists in our cities forget about towns and villages. Rulers have allowed suburbs, colonies and housing complexes which look swanky but there is no proper disposal system of the waste created!

I recently visited India and tried to explore the reasons of our dirty streets and rivers. There is hardly any system of garbage collection or disposal in our cities and villages. While garbage disposal is an industry in advance countries that generates respectable employment, in our country no importance is given to it and left it to unprofessional people. If Modi government make it compulsory for every city to develop a proper modern garbage disposal system that will solve many problems.

there are many impediments which act as constraints in wiping away this blot of manual scavenging from society, #lack of political and administrative will. #like swachh bharat mission, this should also be highlighted on a mass scale. #rehabilitation issues should get priority.
