 Section 147 of Railway act prescribes that:-

1. If any person enters upon or into any part of a railway without lawful authority he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may be extended to six months or with a fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.

Provided that in the absence of special and adequate reasons to the contrary to be mentioned in the judgment of the court, such punishment shall not be less than a fine of five hundred rupees.

2. Any person referred to in sub-section(1) may be removed from the railway by any railway servant or by any other person whom such railway servant may call to his aid.

However, over Indian Railways, especially over suburban sections deaths occur due to trespassing.

Suggest solutions for reducing trespassing of Railway tracks.

Since the rail track of Bogapani station was transformed to Broad Gauge with single line track, trains are running on the track without any raised platform in small stations(Differences in platform height is sure to pose a risk for passenger safety and it did) though there is every possibility of accident while climbing (boarding)in or climbing (getting)down the train. This is with all the main or branch line small stations. Do the needful to construct raised platform for the sake of safety.

Data shows that 39 Claims everyday of trespassing are taking place. Some Suggestions to prevent or minimise this are 1- Education in and outside schools, 2- Providing Prohibiting Signs, 3- Fences at and outside Station 4- Detection and Surveillance System 5- mass media campaigns 6-Patrol and enforcement

We will be able to protect our Girl Child only by saving her at the womb itself. We do have so many ineffective Acts like preventing sex determination test etc. In case we are determined the requirement is amend the existing MTP (Medical Termination of Pregnency) Act.As a Member of one of such Committee I tried my best to get that Ac amended but failed. MTP Act should be amended in such a way that it should be under control of a Board to see that it is not misused.

We can classify trespassers in three Categories 1. Railway Staff on Duty, 2. Beggars, 3. Passengers. To arrive at a conclusion, we have to study the data of past five years with respect to these categories. Based on the highest casualty, we have to think for the remadies

always we blame for government, we don't have our liability to pay our attention for the government.... but I have a better plan to control to like those incident so the railways should take this step quickly to make chalan for catch that vehicle and keep custody for at least 6 months and penalty for 2 wheel-5000, 3wheel-8000 and 4wheel-10000 and so on.
