Sir As regards to subjects taught at the school level mathematics is the one of the subjects that has the highest percentage of failures or low scores.This is mostly because in the case of maths school level teaching requires a thorough knowledge of elementary mathematics and most often from the pre degree level onwards students are taught concepts of a higher level like set theory ,calculus etc.. they often lose touch with the basics completely when they reach the post graduate level. conti..

quality of skilled labor can be developed only by having a good instructor.. start working at the grass-root level... attract the bright to enter into teaching field by INCREASING the PAY.. make the pay competitive to that of IT fields... have the hikes the same way an IT company has... then why wont talented people come into teaching field??

In my opinion teaching is very crucial thing and now a days every state government let it like a bit of nothing teachers appoints on contractual basis, daily wages and now government think this is the best way to overcome spent on education and they treated as a permanent solution bt this is the beginning of our worst education system so stop it and and new education policy should totally abolish such type of thinking of government and control over the requirement rule of teachers. I Prof Shekhar Pati, M.A.,SET(Hist),MEd SET UGC-NET(Edu) Dip in school Mgt, CTET twice, Maha-TET, Ph.D.(Edu-Process), served from 8 years not get salary from 7 months..How maintain quality in teacher edu.. quality...quality.. quality.. stop this word...Stop discussion on education.... save us.. save teachers.. save India...

There should be regular interaction /open discussion among senior teachers completing 10/15/20/25/30 years of profession so that they share difficulties/outcomes and same should be modified accordingly. Experience and Expertise should be put into use to train the new gen.
