In polytechnics, the result of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects are very poor in almost all states of India. The teaching faculties of these subjects are having post graduation in their concerned subjects. In polytechnics, the qualification for the subjects maths, physics and chemistry should include NET qualified in addition to post graduation. This will definitely improve the results in above subjects. The teacher should be NET qualified for maths , physics , chemistry

In most of private technical institutes (Engineering college, Polytechnics), the teaching faculties are getting very less salaries as compared to the salaries mentioned in AICTE rules and regulations. Also most of teaching faculties are releived in vacation period. How can quality of teaching be improved with very less salaries with no assurance to their jobs in private engineering and polytechnic institutions in India. There should be some serious checks on private technical institutions.

The main reason that there is a dearth of innovative and internationally competitive professors in India is because of lack of incentives and promotion of their creative knowledge. If we really want to improve the education system we need to make TEACHING A PROFESSION WHICH IS MOST LOOKEDFORWARD TO BY THE INTELLECTS

Appointment of teachers must be on merit basis , they must have vast knowledge, skills and proper attitude towards teaching. There must be regular promotions and incentive to encourage them .defaulters must be punished. Regular training to be given to update their knowledge

Sir, A school teacher should be of the practical knowledge - The teacher selection process should be more efficient especially in government schools. A teacher should be well motivated, so that he/She will teach the students efficiently & motivate the students to study. - Motivating incentives is given to the teachers like good remuneration & time to time seminars should be held for both teachers & students (for motivation) Because without MOTIVATION no one do nothing.

 Finger print system should be brought in govt schools in order to monitor the punctuality of the teacher  Monthly feedback should be given by the students of govt schools about their teacher  Those feedback should be collected by the CEO’s and they must take steps frequently if there is any drawbacks

Teachers training is mostly theoretical, it creates gap between design and implementation. I suggest to set up a "research lab" kind of school one in every five districts. Purpose of this "research lab" school is to continuously device best method of imparting knowledge and skills. This school will contain highly professional innovative teachers and psychologist. Students will be statistically selected for representative sample. Special team to "pedal" research findings in five districts.

Keep workshops for teachers where they interact with IT-people, Doctors, Engineers, Politicians, Social Workers, Bankers, Professors etc. Time to time interaction with other people also can give some good insights on teaching concepts.

Give good salary to the teachers. Make two parts of their salary. the 2nd part being an incentive to be given only if they are performing well. for the 2nd part, take vote from parents. Based on these votes, the incentives can be given accordingly to the teachers.
