It has been observed that when a student fails to qualify entrance exams for various professional courses (s)he takes up the profession of being a teacher in a school. Mushrooming of private schools further makes it easy for a person with intellect below average to chose teaching as a career. Private schools should either be shut down or they should be forced to accept teachers who meet minimum standard set by national education policy.

We have right to education dead line for implementation of which expired on 31st March. Were we serious? Do we not have data about number of schools, teachers, infrastructure, training centres, out of school children? Yes we have. Did we provide enough funds for that? No. Why then we put dead line for implementation? Did we put effective governance in place? No. Majority of poor students go to such schools where we expect quality outcome out of nothing. Anything when it comes for poor, no money

We have a constitution which guarantees equal opportunity without any discrimination. Where are the poor when they have to access services of education, health, shelter, clothes, etc., if they do not have money to send their children to a school where they can learn from a qualified teacher. They start their life with elimination. we advocate for common civil code. Can we enforce common school system for poor and rich? We are privatising education for rich, Can we nationalise for poor? Do we?

Development of teaching faculty also include good prospect for teaching community and a better life for them,progress of the teaching community will lead to make a best teachers and they will give the best to the nation

Good teacher can be created out of environment of good education which begins from the family. As Aristotle said that family is the best school. But every family is not uniform. About 79 per cent of the rural households are not having even square meal. We do not have one type of school. We have CBSE, ICSC, State Education Boards, Sanskrit Education Board, Madarsas, and so on and so forth. Are we ready to make a common school system where poor can participate in the same education as rich?

Good quality teachers are available in our country,but the T.E.T. qualification should not be the sole criterion for recruitment of teachers,as the bachelor of education is the course that trains a person to be a teacher,a teacher becomes polished by experience in field not by a three hour test.the teachers should be recruited as regular not contractual with various rules and regulations.teachers in private institutions are not paid according to their services,they are exploited.

Good quality teachers available everywhere but due to commercialization of education, good teachers are not paid well enough. No schools wants to pay more to retain good teachers. Take IB schools in mumbai for eg; when a teacher reaches a certain salary bracket they fire them and hire new teachers for cheap.They hire foreign teacher 4 times the salary of Indian teachers who do not teach but join as Heads of schools. Indian teachers do the job of teaching whereas foreign teaches take fat salary.

I think all will agree that we have acute shortage of good quality teachers. We should leverage those existing good teacher and technology. Can we ask those expert teachers to create an all India common syllabus and model tutorial explaining key concepts for each standard in youtube videos format? Imagine for each standard, we have videos explaning key concepts, complex theories in simple practical way, history in the narrative way, we will have a solid primary and secondary education

Private schools and colleges should work hand in hand but they are biggest centres of black money generation. Please keep a tight check on them. The management is run by family members, teachers are underpaid and humiliated.

Let Govt. be aware about ground reality that Professors in private institute today are not being paid salary as per norms and in time. In this situation no good experience person will like to join teaching. Teachers from granted colleges are living lavish life while their non granted counterparts from private institutes are barely able to survive. Govt. need to take strict action against such malpractices and then dream of improving academic standards.
