In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Saharanpur a Smart City. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and now the projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

Saharanpur Smart city project will act as lighthouse for the rest of the city. Hope it is replicated in the rest of the city as well.

It looks like the proposal have all the buzzwords without meaning anything! It is a typical management consultant product. There is no sense of how things tie into one another.

The share of residential use is quite low. To be honest, it would be really difficult to give any concrete suggestion on this. It would be quite unfortunate if this plan is selected purely due to political reasons.
