Dear PM Sir, Good Day, Payments by Debit/ Credit card should be compulsory n it should attract any serice tax and or surcharge. Small shopkeepers add 1 or 2% rxtrs if payment is made by card. This should not be the case. Cash transactions should not be above Rs 20,000/- and this too with PAN. This should apply to all donations to political parties also. Slowly slowly currency notes of 1000 n 500 can be removed from circulation.

Reduce the transaction rates charged to merchandiser. Make the settlement system backbone strong to handle large scale processing. Create a standards for billing across all types of trade.

Debates are on major channels for e-payment to the max and some tax incentive to both user and merchant will be offered. Very good move. Together, govt must ensure that all govt. body must stop charging customer like me the charges being charged by gateway operator. Major / all private player bear this cost, where as all government establishment take charges. Person like me who does most of the transactions either by credit card or net banking, issue cheque for payment to gas bill / LIC premium

Very good proposal, as it will encourage people to make transactions in white and will reduce black money. It will rather increase revenue in form of more tax payers

• • Income-tax rebate in respect of payments through electronic means will result in loss of revenue without commensurate benefit; complicate tax computation; and determination of the amount eligible for tax rebate will lead to controversies resulting in litigation. • Many persons do not use credit card in some establishments for fear of misuse. • Payment by account payee cheques should be encouraged.

Dear PM sir ,please make sure that the credit card/Debit card transaction for any kind of purchase(e.g Petrol,Gold,Paying LIC premium or shopping at a Grocery shop)will be Service Tax/Surcharge free. Because presently most of the cases like insurance premium paying via Credit/Debit Card levied some extra charges beyond the original premium of the policy.More over most the small shops having POS levied some extra charges below some certain level of transaction amount.

This is a very a good initiative and should be taken by the government immediately. It will definitely help to curb the problem of black money. More e-transaction giving the public relaxation in taxes is just a fabulous idea. Less cash transactions will put check on black money. Government should also force this in lower segments.
