Instead of giving income tax rebate to shop owners if government has waive off all credit card charges to customer, it will be great and more accountability. Because as a shopkeeper / owner will be least interested in government incentive.

This has to implement and started with government offices immediately, then others will follow. The Industry related to manufacturing of card swapping machines has to ask to develop machine which can be run by solar power, less consumption of batteries. This all will lead to less reduce cost of handling, policies, monitor physical as well as fake currency.

1. Mandate all transaction above 50K as e-transaction 2. Encourage RuPay card instead of MasterCard, VasaCard, etc by giving more benefit to RuPay Card 3. Increase the Card transaction limit per day to more than 1 Lack by default. 4. Remove the Annual/Maintenance fees for All debit cards types 5. Compulsorily allow to pay even small amounts(50Rs, 20Rs, etc) using cards 6. Mandate all payments as e-payment in government offices (may help to avoid bribe)

This is the first baby step towards curbing black money.. We have plenty of governing laws for various activities, key for any law is implementing the same on ground. Government should own this & without support of people, it is impossible.

Excellent Idea....Should be compulsory for all general stores and unorganized sector to have swiping machine and there should not be any transaction charges. All travel agencies should only use e-payment and there should be reward associated with this to encourage this mechanism. it should be mandatory from RBI that every Credit/debit card should have Ru-pay+ Visa / Master. There should be tax benefit on expenses made by Credit/debit/online in ITR.

Dear Mr. Modi and Team Its great idea that government has initialize to discourage cash transactions and encourage plastic money. Though this idea is great but required to do for following systems in place 1.All banks (finance) and telecom ministry has to ask to install card swapping machines to each shopkeeper/ outlets / petrol pump etc with cordless facility. 2.The same has to be without any rental / card charges. Major customers/ people discourage to swap the card due to shopkeepers asking

Nice move. Transaction fees should be minimal and great if there are no transaction fees. Also there should be limit on currency as higher denominations make it simple to complete high amount transactions. There should be some technical solution if small amount can be immediately transferred to anybody.
