The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in community-led Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the city profile, administrative efficiency and citizen engagement with the draft Smart City Proposal so that will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your Participation is important for us.

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

Another factor that obstructs the growth of this place is the lack of proper solid waste management. Other than the Swedish method of waste-to-energy model, the plan of garbage that is not garbage proposed by Curitiba can be replicated here. The proposed Plan encouraged recycling and began rewarding citizens with food, books or bus tickets when they separated their organic and non-organic waste. If these practices are applied here than it will be easier to achieve the vision of clean India.

Every radio talk or discussion in a place like Pasighat which is cosmopolitan in nature should be multi lingual. Smart city team has presented a smart discussion catering to all sections of society!

There are several methods of Government to Customer e-Governance. Two-way communication allows citizens to instant message directly with public administrators, and cast remote electronic votes (electronic voting) and instant opinion voting. Transactions such as payment of services, such as city utilities, can be completed online or over the phone.

IRREGULAR/FREQUENT/LOW VOLTAGE SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY: The Ranga Nadi Hydro – power supply line connecting from Aalo, west siang district be cleared as early as possible. Besides, this New Macro/Mini-hydro-power station be installed over siang river, Siku river and Sirum river for sufficient and regular supply of electricity and water drinking and irrigation.

Sirki hydro – power also be improved with immediate effect. ‘Sibot Korang at Bodak village also be proposed for installation of Mini hydro power station. If installed hydro-power over these mentioned rivers, there will be no question of shortage and irregular supply of power to Pasighat City. A SMART CITY without its own power stations will be meaningless.

it is possible the coexistence between these two reality, however the issue of physical distance and location is still not easy to manage.
