In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Kanpur a Smart City. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and now the projects proposed in the Smart City Round-2 Proposal.
Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Round-2 Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the round-2 proposal developed.

. Along with making the public aware of sanitation and open defecation proper facilities should be made available There is a lack of working and clean public toilets. Some people are forced to relieve themselves in open.

Paan, masalas and gutkas should be either completely banned or rules should be followed because people tend to spit it everywhere.

Kanpur Old Cloth Store (LOCS) may be established where all the citizens who wish to donate their good quality clothes may be collected and thereafter LOCS may distribute these to poor and needy people and during various calamities like flood, earth quake etc. in any part of India
