Dear Citizens and Stakeholders

Our city “Kanpur” selected for ROUND-2 under Smart City Mission. At present, Kanpur is in the process of preparing the revised Smart City Proposal. Therefore your valuable suggestions are solicited to revise the Smart City Proposal of Kanpur City for Round-2 submission to Government of India (GoI).
After a lot of deliberation among Kanpur Municipal Corporation (KMC) official and the citizens of Kanpur, during Citizen’s Engagement Round - 1, Smart City Proposal for Kanpur included:
1. PAN City proposal
2. Area based development

So, we invite all citizens of Kanpur to participate in this review process where they can share their suggestions to help KMC reformulate the Smart City Proposal in Smart City Mission Round-2 challenge the links of which have been provided underneath and submit your valuable suggestions here within 30/04/2016.

he proposals for KANPUR City are specific and address the subjects and issues discussed in previous MyGov events. Implementation of these proposals, specially the area based proposals , will bring a change in city's character. kanpur seems to be a strong competitor in Smart City Challenge and it can be seen through the solutions proposed for various sectors.

smart city ke liye sabse pahle Atikrman ko saaf karna hoga, jishse trafic cantrol hoga .ishke baad sahar ko saaf rakhna hoga.

trees should be plant not only along the roads but also in front of every house, government organization, private organization and in every area where it will be possible

Ganga river is not given importance, there should be some important steps taken towards its development like Sabarmati river in Ahmadabad

Earlier there was a scheme to deposit used plastic wrappers and covers to the respective manufacturing companies. To reduce the contribution of plastic from the waste,the same scheme should be followed. If we deposit empty milk plastic containers,biscuit wrappers and several other plastic items,they can be reused by the companies before becoming an unmanageable, ugly waste.The companies will get an additional benefit to recycle those plastic products before they are soiled to an unusable extent.
