Smart utilization of existing resources may reduce the burden on the Economy. I believe that changing working hours so that most businesses are run when the sunlight is available will save considerable amount of power. Govt. may design strategies to encourage business to be run between 7 AM and 9 AM. India must utilize this bounty of available sunlight by shifting 2 hours of post-dusk Business to early morning hours! This is doable and just Nerds a change of mindset.

I am thinking that there will be some power saving if sufficient number of small wind generating units installed on railway coaches because trains runs with a speed which is sufficient for wind power generation. so by using that power we can reduce the power consumed by overhead line and also we can feed back it if possible.

Like these farmers, we can promote the idea of solar panels to all other. It has following benefits
1) they can fulfill their on requirements of agriculture like pumps and motors and home appliances
2) Also earn money by selling it.It will give another income to them.
3)Dinish burden of electricity bill and loadscheduling.
4)Pollution free source and can reduce the burning of woods in villages and thus saving of plants
Solar panels can be provided with government subsidies

4. And the other meter measures the power supplied to the grid
5. The house owner needs to pay only the difference of the two or he shall be paid by the corporation if he generates more than he consumes.
6. This shall lead to a revolution in solar power capacity of the nation.. in my humble opinion

I have a suggestion for solar power promotion in a big way.
1. The average solar power unit has gone down in cost and we do have units which have a life expectancy of around 25 years
2. The biggest obstacle in installING solar power is having to buy batteries for storing power, if we discount the initial cost of the system
3. We could sidestep this by giving excess power generated back to the grid.
4. IInstall two meters at homes where one meter measures power consumption from the grid and

Energy conservation is indeed the need of the hour & in order to acheive it, the gorvernment whether state or central should replace all the existing street lights with solar powered ones & install solar panels on rooftops of all government & quasi government buildings where minimum 70% electricity consumed is from solar generated ones. Further all commercial buildings should mandatorily install dolar panels and minimum 50% of the electricity consumed should be from solar generated electricity.

Start with simple small steps
1. All street lights should run on #Solar-Energy
2. The energy department should encourage people to save energy by offering some promotional schemes
3. For any home/apartment registration there must be a rule that, they have to make their 40% energy by #Solar-Energy/any other #renewable_enery_sources.
4. the home must be #Eco-friendly and #energy-efficient, make a rule for that.

India has got the largest Railway network. It would be great Idea to generate electricity from train movement and use it to power the light bulbs and fans in the same train or to store it in a battery for any future use. #EnergyConservation #MyGov
