In India, a lot of marriage and other functions consume large amount of electricity as they are mostly performed in the evening. Govt. may consider coming out with a policy of offering Barat Ghar at discounted prices if the marriages/functions are performed during day time. This would result in a lot of energy saving. The Govt. should also spend on re-engineering Govt. buildings and promoting private buildings to suit the needs of solar lighting and natural lighting.

More Energy charges can be made for 5 star hotels, where more energy is wasted for many comforts and where rich people can afford to spend thereby compensating the poor or compensating Electricity Distribution Companies.

NAMASKAR, PM-MODI ji,
Please Discourage Commutation as more Petrol, Diesel, etc. can be saved, more energy can be saved, conservation of foreign exchange can be made. etc. Pls arrange to give Non-Commutation Allowance OR give Income-Tax Rebate OR i.T.Relief for Non-Commuters OR for Public Transport System users. Also, pls encourage more people to use Public Transport System. More no. of semi-comfort, comfort, luxury buses.
Thanks,
B.Shanmuganathan / 98948-66843, COIMBATORE (TN)-641041.

Sir
I am an Solar Rooftop System integrator based in MADURAI since June2012 Named as ARTHANA GREEN ENERGY.
Now I am facing more hurdles due to Subsidy for solar systems. Instead of the subsidy we may offer Exeption of IT for customer as well as ST for Integrator. This will help to reach the Target 170 GW solar target easily. Because RoofTop system only eliminate the Discom issues. And can put the special tarriff system for solar customers generating power more than 50% of own consumption.

RE-START ED THE CULTURE OF RISE BEFORE SUN RISE WHICH WAS THE NORM 50 YEARS BACK. TV, WESTERN STYLE PARTYING, ETC DESTROYED. AT LEAST AKASHWANI AND DOORDARSHAN CAN SWITCH OFF AT 10 PM. ENERGY EFFICIENT LIFESTYLE SHOULD START FROM NETA AND ADHIKARI OF BJP CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, EVERYONE ELSE WILL FOLLOW.

I have a strange idea, not calculated how much we can conserve but still can save a lot,if every individual does this.
I always switch off my vehicle headlight (car/Two wheeler) on traffic signals when the time is less to completely switch off the engine. Engineering professionals could help and calculate the average savings from an individual.
