Bihar Sharif is participating in the fourth round of the smart city challenge, it is already well established that citizen participation is one of the most important component of the smart city project and to strengthen the proposal for Smart City Bihar Sharif. It is now imperative that the citizen participation is overwhelming. Extensive citizens engagement initiatives through online and offline communication has been undertaken earlier to get feedback and citizens participation.

In a bid to gather the opinion of the people this is an open discussion where the citizens of Bihar Sharif are requested to give their feedback to strengthen Smart City Proposal submitted in Round III as well as suggestions for Smart City Proposal to be submitted in Round IV.

Last date of submission is 29th September, 2017.

Encouraging integrated transport system where all modes of transport shall be e-registered to a city portal and all shall be interconnected with their timings to ease the commuters so that they can plan easily sitting at their homes i.e. real-time information sharing with commuters.

Quality of road construction should be ensured by putting stringent conditions in tenders like maintenance of roads for a minimum period of five years.

So I believe traffic management is also a big challenge.I would love to see progress in all the sector which I mentioned. And moreover pepole should live here freely, no criminal dominance.

Solar electrification is required at various new and existing buildings to fight power shortage in my city. Solar street lights are required at roads and streets.

"हमारा शहर पर्यटन के दृष्टिकोण से खास है. राजगीर, नालन्दा खण्डहर, कुण्डलपुर, पावापुरी, ईनसब ऐतिहासिक स्थलों से घिरा बिहार शरीफ एकलौता स्मार्ट शहर होगा. हमे अभी से ही ऐसी व्यवस्था करनी चाहिए जिससे ईनसब जगह जाने वाले लोग बिहार शरीफ मे ठहरें और हमे अपने आतिथ्य-सत्कार का मौका दें. हमे ईनसब ऐतिहासिक स्थलों को अच्छे से उपयोग करना है ईसलिए अगर शहर को बढ़ाना है तो राजगीर की ओर बढ़ाना एक अच्छा विकल्प होगा."

Safety and security should be increased both keeping in view the general crimes happening in the country and also the threat from terrorist and to ensure the same, 24x7 on road police patrolling/ patrolling by the local residents on voluntary job basis may be done. The residents can be invited to take yup this job with an honorarium being paid at the end of their monthly service.
