Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Sir, Crude oil price is now on 5 year low, so why petrol price is still too much high. In may 2009, petrol price was on 40 rs/ltr and crude oil price was same as of now. I want to know sir, where is the ache din. I am a big fan of yours but a common man still waiting for ache din.

I would like to know if there is a provision in the GO dealing with revised DBTL scheme stating that the eligible customers who submitted accounts in the past but did not receive gas subsidy due to bottlenecks in the Banks while seeding Aadhaar cards may also get their subsidy amount directly. If there is no such GO, may I request the MPANG to issue a separate GO to this effect as it will help thousands of customers including pensioners, poor and middle class families. सर Petroleum Sector एक ऐसा Sector है,जिस पर हमें बहुत ध्यान देनेे की जरूरत है।इसका ऱ्सोत हमारे पास कम है,आज लोग अपने शान के लिये इसका मिस यूज कर रहे। लेकिन ये संसाधन ऐसे हैं जिनका हम दुबारा यूज नही कर सकते मतलब जाने या अनजाने मे ही हम अपना जमा पूंजी लुटा रहे,ये केवल शहरों तक ही सीमित नही बल्की गाँव भी ऐसी बुरी बिमारी की चपेट मे है। इसका कोइ इलाज भी नही जब तक लोग खुद से जागरूक नही होंगे। और इस संकट से बचने के लिये हमे ऐसे सोऱ्स का यूज करना चाहिये,जिसे दुबारा यूज किया जा सके,जैसे-हवा,जल,और ऱ्पकाश

Sir, I have seen in while working in refinery, higher authority does not plan properly. Initially they start a project and invest 1000 to 2000 crores in it. Then realize they have demolish that project and start working on new project. In such manner they waste years and years and money. Just due to lack of planning and not long terms goal. I think every refinery should plan before investing. And mainly they do not utilize new talent in proper authority and talent goes out of India.

E&P and Infrastructure are co-related and E&P operation in NE are in deep pockets, where infrastructure is very poor. Let us take the example of Manipur, Nagaland where infrastructure is at the lowest level. It is proposed to provide support to the locals for building the infrastructure; which in turn increase local participation and job creation for the locals. Moreover, providing hand on experience to the locals in different E&P activities will ensure better future opportunity to the locals.

1. Make all oil companies private in phased manner. 2. Give very high Cross subsidy on LPG cylinders to reduce pollution and health hazards to rural women. 01 cylinder may cost just rs 200. and yes only 06 subsidised cylinders are sufficient not 12. Put LPG cross subsidy on petrol. 3. Like US , revise petrol and diesel on daily basis to ensure very fair pricing based on international crude rates. 4. Never give any subsidy on petrol , diesel or CNG. People who can afford vehicles can also fuel

Respected sir, It is found that Gujarat , Assam & Kolkatta has good opportunities of having onshore & offshore oil & natural gas companies like ONGC can set up platform or rigs there for extracting crude oil & natural gas which gives the Indian citizens a large number of employment in various sectors & also help in the betterment of India's Economy producing Crude oil & natural gas in the country itself.

The corrupt and tainted officers of oil co. bpcl have one by one in aspan of 2-3 years closed 8petrolpumps of bpcl only in kanpur city and the number is increasing.These corrrupt officers of bpcl kanpur office are squaring off there personal vendetta with honest dealers of petrol pumps and being targetted ,harrassed andtreatened but are helpless.No remedy is given to them as they all live in fear of these corrupt officers in bpcl kanpur territory.The oil ministry should immediately suspend them.
