Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Petroleum sector is hi tech area. the sector is highly competitive globally. Though the local stakeholders should be kept on board, the national perspective must be viewed above all. Any activity of exploration and production would automatically lead to peripheral development, nation's interest must be priority.

NAMO- With the increase in the petrol and Diesel prices in TELANGANA we are all still charged 2 rupees EXTRA per litre for VAT which was increased due to the fall in Oil prices- this needs to be corrected; As the rise and fall of prices monitored by central government and state govt looks not benefitial to a common TAX PAYER ----- Price set by central govt. is not same in all the states and price set by the state govt is not strictly followed all accross the state. Each petrol pump charges with a diference of 40 to 50 paise per litre - which is an open loot from a common man and TAX PAYERS ;; Please justify our taes paid and please monitor the divided states of TELANGANA and ANDHRA save the TAX PAYERS

A new Plant is in operation in Canada to produce ultra-low sulphur fuel suitable for IC engines by converting waste plastics through low temperature pyrolysis and liquification. The process has a conversion of upto 95%. The Plant uses 50Tons of Plastic and produces 38000litres of Fuel which is more environmentfriendly than normal Diesel. For India, such Plants will have dual benefit of FE saving and Swachch Bharat Programme of PM.

People must start car pooling and use more of shuttle/cab services provided by organizations. 6-9pm is an extremely difficult time for people to reach home due to clogging of roads with heavy traffic. Modiji please take steps on communication to the general public to use more of public/company transport and car pool. 1. Reduction in number of vehicles improves air quality 2. Less traffic frees people of tension Actions such as paid parking/not allowing 2 days in 5 week work day to park.

The prices of petrol or diesel has not dropped in India in-spite of the drastic fall in global prices. It became more evident that even petroleum giant British Petroleum disclosed losses for financial year 2014. Instead of reducing the prices they are increasing the prices by 1 rupee. I understand that Government still has control over the prices. Please look in to this issue as petrol or diesel is the backbone of price raise that is inflation. You can control it by controlling their prices.

sir why not to make the costly cars to run compulsorily on petrol. eg: 20 lakhs or more selling priced cars to run on petrol only. this will reduce the diesel use and pollution.

NAMO - Appreciate your support on the Kochi institute has filed for a US patent of biofuel from coconut oil “The low carbon residue, sulphur content and the total contaminant obviously make the coconut biofuel eco-friendly - The centre collaborated with the automobile engineering department of the SCMS Engineering College, Kochi, for the test run in a Matador diesel engine. The test run showed the technical specifications such as torque and power similar to the efficiency of diesel fuel. It offered a higher mileage of 22.5 km/L than 16 km/L of diesel. KUDOS for the support
