Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Recently the petrolium prices in global markets has gone done significantly against which government has also reduced some prices in India. I have seen that opposition groups frequently blame you that you have not reduced the petrolium prices in India in proportion to global reduction. I support you for not reducing them so much but i am surprised by the justification given by you for this. even our prime minister yesterday referred in an election rally at Delhi that this is due to "Naseebwala"

There should be one day off for fuel outlets/pumps with well intimation/publicity to the public. Initially people may feel uncomfortable but once they get conscious/usual of such practice, it may do wonder for our crude import burden. If it works well it can be stretched to once in a week. Also this off day can be promoted as no fuel/vehicle day just to encourage the use of public transport/cycle/walk as much as possible, just for the noble cause of energy security for our India.

As an alternative to present petroleum product ways and means need to be searched to increase the production and use of Biofuel.In this context govt. must closely look into the report "Opportunities in 2ndGeneration Biofuels –Present Status prepared by Dr.D.K.Tuli IOCL R&D center way back in 2011.The report highlights on present status and trends in Biofuels. This report has very well made by IOCL scientist.The need of hour is to look into the recommendations and quickly act on it without delay

Persons of NE have a peculiar mentality. Authority which wish to work there has to take local persons in their confidence. without which they will not cooperate.

Marketing of LPG is very complicated and poor many distributor are not providing home delivery because consumers not knowing about ivrs /SMS system and about online system if there will be a compulsive for every distributor to display about ivrs /SMS system than every consumers will get educated about their rights and distributors does not make fool any consumer

offer only 8 subsidized cylinder. increase the amount of subsidy for fist 4 cylinders.so dt poor ppl who dont have a LPG connection will be encouraged to take new LPG connection. People enjoyig more than 8 are definitely nt so poor that they sud depend on subsidy.Think abt the poor who cant even afford 6.Also govt sud take care/bear of the security deposit amt which is needed 2 b deposited while taking a new connection for poor BPL card holder's family.This will actually benefit the poor people.

many ppl are not using as many as 12 subsidized cylinder.so instead they are selling them at higher price in the market and earning money. PAHAL cant only stop black marketing. Reduce the no of subsidized to stop this and Increase the amt of subsidy so that poor can afford that. #GaribonKiSarkar fir hogi asli #SabkaSathSabka vikas.

You suggested use of MILITARY LAND AND MANPOWER FOR SOLAR FARMS...HOW MILITARY MANPOWER IS EXPERT IN SOLAR FARMS.? HOW MILITARY LAND HAS TO WITH SOLAR FARMS? DO YOU HAVE SOLAR HEATER AT YOUR HOME?

K.oil and make it free for all.' ..The K.oil will be provided on market price.. subsidy ... 160 rupees be deposted into the account of card holder. ..Govt criteria will remove all AP people from getting the benefits of subsidy.'...IT IS VERY CONFUSING. PL CLARIFY 160 WHEN? WHY K.OIL FREE? HOW? ....WHAT IS GOVT CRITERIA FOR REMOVING AP PEOPLE?
