Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

in lieu of effect that happened to our diplomatic relations with Russia due to recent visit of us president. we must seek for crude import from Russia being largest producer of crude. that will help to stabilize the Russian economy even. which have been greatest friend of India in all times. and is very crucial also for permanent membership of India in security council of UN. India is a country full of resources. and like other European countries we should see towards alternative fuels. thank u

We can reduce our imports of crude oil by adopting gober gas plants schemes and refilling the same in cylinders for cars as well as domestic use, also a lot of gas can be generated from our pumping station sewerage.

We can tap millions of cubic feet of oil and natural gas from Iran and that too in economical way. It will serve us in a fastest way in next 3-4 yrs time to accelerate our industrial development. We have already seen almost 10 years going to pass for nuclear deal with no results and that too at the cost of India-Iran pipeline. It has also made our relationship bitter with Iran. This is what US wanted. This is my individual's view though other may agree with it.

This low price regime will reduce investment in O&G around the world at least temporarily. This the best time for Indian E&P companies to win bids for international oil field - Mexico and Uganda are up for bidding in 2015. The only way we can compete with China if we have oil companies as big as Sinopec, PetroChina and CNOOPC ( all three in Fortune top 10)! Increased E&P in India and Equity Oil are the only ways to ease the energy burden over the medium and long term.

It has been observed that last government has create classes in defense. Which is not good for a military person. Why you giving allowance as per rank wise. PBORs life have less cost than an officers. Make it same for all. Officers are getting more salary and more privilege than a Jawan. So I am requesting give privilege to officer and and as per Rank and length of services and more money to Jawans.
