Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

cylon will lean more to china for aids and cheaper construction and commodities there is nothing worng in that in my openion any sensible poor country like us and cylon china is the best choice

I would like the Financial Ministry or RBI to work with Citi for effective Forex and Crude Oil hedging strategy. I know Citi is capable of doing it as I work in such Energy//Commodities Trading and Risk Management systems with Citi. RBI website is not working when I tried to reach them with this proposal.

NE region of India has great potential. And this can be explored by participation of these local communities. NE region is famous for its handicrafts, art and different culture. So with the help of small and medium enterprises they must promoted. and tourism is another way to develop this region.

Sir, why not our custom department share the import detail with the Ministry of Heavy Industry ,Corporate affair, commerce & Industry and Micro, small & medium enterprises. These Ministries can make the road map with Indian company under the prominent program “make in india”.

Ramar Pillai of Ilaiyankudi, TN says his biofuel when mixed with water and heated to 78 degrees Celsius turns into an inflammable bio-fuel that gives a smokeless blue flame. "The mixture is 15 gm ammonium chloride, 15 gm sawdust and 15 gm yeast. It is fermented and distilled. Then I mix it with a litre of water and shake it a bit. See how the water settles at the bottom. I call it Velar Bio Hydrocarbon Fuel,"
