Reduce the complexity of Sops provided to private sector. Especially Reliance and Essar. Energy security will be attained when there are large number of players local as well national and global. On local level we need atleast two players covering a state with fringe players covering districts for distribution purposes. Nationally India needs Atleast 30 oil and/or gas producing companies and refining companies in full competetion mode. Monopoly like situation is crony capitalism.
Change it now.

Oil and gas sector is highly highly organized, hence it is easier to tax and each govt takes a shortcut by taxing this sector instead of improving other problem sectors. Oil companies are inefficient bemoths first carry out staff reduction in all govt oil companies, This will reduce expenses, redtape and find ways for better delivery. Corruption will also come down in distribution areas. Making these bemoths work better is an easy challenge to start with.

If we have to progress on basis of crude oil addiction, we are in for long term disaster and highest level of economic slavery. India consumes less than 1/8th of US consumption now, if we are going to double that, environmental disaster also must be taken into account.
For personal locomotion, there seems to be no viable or practical solution other than crude oil.
Other areas we must eliminate crude oil consumption to zero Including cooking. It will take time but goals must be set clearly andnow

Sir,
I have an idea of designing a solar hybrid car which can be much useful for our society.
This can reduce a huge amount of consumption of fuel which is diminishing day by day.
I am not rich enough to design it on my own.
I need some help.

Challenges in petroleum Sector 1. Honourable prime minister sir we dont have large stores to accumulate crude oil. We have to make these reserves. Right now low price help us to do this. It will also increase out stratagic capabilities. 2. Make E-Tolls in india to save petrol, money, time and environment. 3. Support Electric vehicle in low load vehicle segment.
