Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

The best way to improve the efficiency of internal combustion engines is by improving the fuel burning efficiency. Will Central and State governments look into the means to improve? I suggest Govt. should look into these areas to bring down Fuel Bill of the country. We can provide solutions to bring down the fuel bill by 25%.

one simple question why the Indian govt is not making its own oil wells in India? why the private companies taking oil resources in India? It cannot acceptable if you say in India we don't have enough oil resource because we have all kind of land forms from desert to sea. For sure India has its own oil resource but it needs to identify..................... Take a step in investigating and discovering which will give you all kind of relief ....think out of the box.

The kind of mentality ONGC employees having is very bad and non productive. The treatment given to other peoples rather that ONGC employees on OFFSHORE platform is very bad and always demotivate visitors. Because of such working environment instead of giving any new productive idea ,scholars always thinks of completing giving work and left the platform as soon as possible. I'm saying it by my experience of 2 months visits on the platforms of bombay high .There should be a respect to peoples.

Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, while it’s laudable that your ministry is looking towards NE with re-newed interest for enhancing petroleum production. But one question, which bothers most residents of state of Rajasthan, is that, what is stopping your ministry in pushing hard and compelling Govt. of Rajasthan in getting OIL refinery in Pokharan (Rajasthan) up and running. Please, for God’s sake, do not view the above comment from political perspective. I am staunch supporter of Mr. Modi’s polices. Western Rajasthan has potential to become a “Gold Mine” for India in petroleum and Gas production. And you can trust me, this single non action on part of your ministry and Govt. of Rajasthan has potential to cost BJP next assembly election in Rajasthan and impact on central Govt. and in same breadth, solid action here can virtually guarantee you clean sweep in next election, as BJP govt. would have delivered a tangible development product. Also, following action must also be completed very fast. “Bring such an important ministry to forefront of development by communication a clear road map and policy. This is what the public of India expect from such a young leader like you. Every day counts. 1. Clear Diesel / petroleum policy for next 10 years. (it has huge impact on automobile sector) 2. 10% mandatory blending of methanol into petroleum products. (Save precious dollars, which India cannot print) 3. Foot the bill to run public transport a day in a month by your department, to save diesel / petrol used by private cars, in big cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune. 4. Mandatory deployment of solar power and rain water harvesting system in all petrol pumps across India. 5. Mandatory employment of minimum of 50% of women tenders on petrol pumps across India in core city limits in day shift. 6. Aggressive campaign to adopt “subsidy free” LPG delivery to people who can afford it. And 100% subsidy payment through addhar linked bank account in next 5 years. 7. As petrol and diesel are now linked to market, levy Re. 1 / liter as cess to recover the subsidy bill footed by UPA govt. and transfer this money to set off the earlier losses/ or to create buffer reserve for future. As a citizen of India, I am ready to foot this additional cost. I think, the motto of your department must be to reduce the import bill of India for petroleum products by 50% in next 5 years. Let’s do whatever it takes to achieve this goal.

Govt may support free import of used tires and plastic to promote diesel from waste plants. If possible can subsidize the capital cost. This will be a viable alternative

We should look out for various options to create more oil, natural gas plants within India. We should reduce exports from other countries that will reduce debt on our side. We should also look to store petrol, diesel, oil,etc exported from outside..so it can be utilized in crisis situation. We should make efforts to search for crude oil options within our country..Petroleum ministry please have a reasonable options available at your disposal so that we don't face the axe while prices shoot up..

Logonko bharosa bhi dilana hoga ki unki jyada ENQUIRY nahi hogi. Isse desh badh raha kala dhan bhi thoda kam ho sakta hai. Abhi apki nitiyan logonko invest karvayegi to logon ke pas jo paisa hai vo bhi kam ayega. Agar koi apne desh ke kisi PROJECT , INFRASTRUCTURE me invest karen to usko tax me thodi subsidy de sakte hai jaise 30% ke bajay 27% bharke wo 5/7 sal ke invest karen. Hamare yahan logon ke pas bahot paisa hai lekin jyada kala dhan hai. Iske bareme vichar ho ye asha hai.
