Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

This is Y.Srinivas, MPPS KSV PALEM ,Anakapalli Mandal,Visakhapatnam District.We conduct work shop on New Education Policy at Village Level. To develop pre-primary education open LKG,UKG sections in the nearby primary schools and provide powers to supervise the schools to the Headmaster of the primary school. From class 1to 5th teach English is one of the subjects remaining all subjects in their mother tongue.

1. Creative learning ,activity based education illustrative methods ,integrated approach methods are useful in the primary education to promote cognitive development of the child .so we have to prepare curriculum according to the above methods and approaches. 2. To develop pre-primary education open LKG,UKG sections in the nearby primary schools and provide powers to supervise the schools to the Headmaster of the primary school.

• Send pupil to school regularly. • Parents should promote an appropriate environment at home to re-copulates what the children /pupil were learn in the school.
