There is a need to improve access to child health services. The Ministry of Health is focusing on promoting child health through appropriate interventions. Presently, the Department of School Education and Literacy, MHRD addresses the nutritional needs of school going children in the age group of 6-14 years through the Mid- Day Meal (MDM) Scheme. The Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) under WCD also addresses the issues of child health. There is, however, a need to synergize the multi-sectoral interventions taken by the relevant GOI Ministries. The existing schemes need to be examined for their outcomes and impediments in implementation, including those of coordination. This theme seeks views and suggestions on how to ensure greater focus on child through improvements in existing schemes and suggest new holistic interventions.

Early teaching is necessary - importance of wholesame nutrition, sleeping early, 8 hours of sleep, healthy dietary habits. Make it mandatory to have one hour of physical exercise per day for students.

My request to gov. Of india is please make some rule about donation which we all paying today for admmision in school I am not opposing to give the donation but the way they are generating black money pls. Make donation should come through cheque only it will help transperncy in education system and black money also........ Thanks

4) When the Top College Principal of say Bihar or West Bengal interacts with his or her counterpart of Delhi or Chandigarh, surely exchange of High Academic thought could be interchanged. COST: A total cost of less than a Crore can get this excursion organized, which will be a great Gift to our Youth and Nari Shakti.

and also they all gets the benefit to understand the way of life, study, eating habits, daily chores of their counterparts in those countries. This will surely enhance our children outlook and personality. 3) On their return, when they will face and interact in their vicinity, their subordinate companions/pals will be instigated to do extraordinary in their studies to grab this opportunity from the Government, resulting up gradation of our Academic climate.

BENEFITS: 1) When all the participants accumulate at Delhi or Mumbai, the student and his/her guardian from Manipur or Kashmir gets a firsthand knowledge about their counterpart from Maharashtra or Kerala and as such it will be a Great National Re-Union. A lot of illusion or wrong concept could be clarified and understood. 2) Further when all of them goes to a Foreign Land, a National Esteem will surely be enhanced in the total team,

All these activities could be negotiated under Foreign Student Exchange & Understanding Program which could be handled by the concerned embassy of that particular country. The embassy should also arrange for the comfortable stay and other necessary requirements of the said group.

HRD Ministry without holding the participant responsible for its non execution or delay. Now after the selected group reaches any of the destination country they will be provided the opportunities to interact/mingle with their counterparts of that country, where they can attend their classes, understand the vocational or skill development courses and any other such activities which are imparted by the education department of that particular country. All these activities could be negotiated

EXECUTION OF THE SCHEME: Immediately after the examination, and declaration of results by the individual Boards, the HRD Ministry, Government of India will coordinate with the individual Boards to ascertain the students list as per Merit, their addresses, contact numbers and reach out to them individually by the D.M. or Commissioner of that District.
