Ministry of Culture’s mission is to preserve, promote and disseminate all forms of art and culture. For achieving this Mission, the Ministry undertakes the following activities:

• Maintenance and conservation of heritage, historic sites and ancient monuments
• Administration of libraries
• Promotion of literary, visual and performing arts
• Observation of centenaries and anniversaries of important national personalities and events
• Promotion of institutions and organizations of Buddhist and Tibetan studies
• Promotion of institutional and individual non-official initiatives in the fields of art and culture

The functional spectrum of the Ministry ranges from creating cultural awareness from the grass root level to the international cultural exchange level. Details about several Schemes which are administered by Ministry of Culture for providing financial assistance for promoting cultural activities are available on the Ministry’s website (http://indiaculture.nic.in/).

The Ministry has decided to invite suggestions from the public regarding innovative measures which can be taken for achieving optimal utilization of the Ministry’s annual budget allocation and regarding tuning its activities for meeting the aspirations of the country’s youth.

It is requested that the individual suggestions may be limited to about 200 words.

No innovative methods are required in my opinion. Truth and honesty are as old as the hills. Do not politicize these institutions if you have any real intention for the culture to bloom. Cheers.

I don't want any service provider to control my internet access. I don't want any licensing. I want to create new apps and websites and I want everyone to use them all for free.

People This the page to give suggestions to Ministry of Culture to preserve our art and culture not page for Department of telecommunication or TRAI to discuss Net Neutrality. Though I am really over whelmed by the support for Net Neutrality.Thank You.

1. #NetNeutrality should not be defined by telecom companies. 2. We DON'T WANT telecom companies to control WHAT we access on the Internet and they CAN'T charge us money for accessing certain websites on the Internet. 3. We WANT to be able to access anything, at any time, without having to pay more for it separately. 4. We DON'T WANT licensing for Whatsapp, Viber or any other app we use. 5. Access to ALL content on the internet-equally accessible to everyone #NetNeutrality

Net neutrality means access to EVERYTHING without discrimination. Don't allow telecom operators to change the definition of NET NEUTRALITY. We want everyone to get access, but to all of the internet. Don't allow creation of private walled gardens. If companies are allowed then it will be like the return of licence-permit raj. And this time it will be for the web. On this very auspicious day of independence which we are proud of, please don't snatch our networking independence.A request.
