I wish to give a suggestion for swachh Bharat. Unfortunately today there are lot of unemployed or underemployed young persons especially in the small towns and rural areas. Why don't we empower them to clean the areas?
If we pay them for garbage they collect :
1. They will be employed
2. Will help Sawach Bharat
3. Will reduce the expenditure of local bodies on cleaning.

Hello Sir,
Police verification part which follows the passport application should not be citizen facing. Passport Seva Kendra should take it up at the back end with the Police Staff. This will avoid the bribery part. People end up paying more money as a bribe than the original passport fee due to unethical demands and the following consequences from the Police Station Staff. If the verification part is taken forward by the Passport Office themselves, this would stop. Please look into this.

Dear Sir This is MY Mann ki Baat. India and Pakistan were together until 1947. It is now about 70 years since the supposedly 'divider' British have left. Can we take efforts to make us merge and together again ?. I am sure it is feasible with sincere efforts and tons of mutual trust. Wow..what a achievement to humankind it will be ! I humbly believe, your leadership can drive and achieve this. I pray GOD that an united India/Pakistan should become reality sooner than later.

A suggestion : On makarsakranti on 14 jan we all donate some thing or the other as per our traditions to poor ,friends and relatives.Where we all are aware we are facing severe climate problems due to increase in pollutions. So this makarsaranti govt should provoke people to donate Plants Like tulsi mainly as it has both medicinal as well as religious use.Other than that poor needs educations and employment so education can be given to them as people can donate books and people can help employ.

Dear Sir,
I went through all the below comments.
I also agree with the suggestions by our beloved citizens.
We have to extract the reason and solution for the same.
The main reason is population in our country.
Our country have many mouths to eat but a few hands to cultivate.
If we take oath to make a shreshta Bharat then we should have to self dependent first.
It mean self dependent person, self dependent state and self dependent country.
