Discussion in Round 2 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Haldia Municipality is organizing a Discussion Forum where prominent citizens will take up the Pan-city smart solutions and Area Based Development issue suggested by the citizen through Comment for discussion. Citizens may post their Smart Solutions, Addition and Alteration on Draft Proposal. Please participate in discussion online by login to MyGov.

Like India Haldia is a plural society that have people from various ethnic background. The cohesive force is the economic that Haldia is sustainable for last two decades. HALDIA IS A MINI INDIA from all aspect. Let’s Make it a futuristic smart city.

Will Smart City Haldia will ensure a better quality of life to its citizens with qualities and opportunities in terms of education, health and security? The present scenario of Haldia looks like that it’s an opportunity for Haldia to grow like a smart city will make the difference.

Cost of development should not be its environment. Haldia has to grow with care for nature. None of us could survive if nature is not protected. Greens of Haldia is one of the asset that must be protected with the development of new townships.

Our Goal should be to achieve an effective maintainable and responsive basic services networks in terms of water supply, sewerage, drainage, solid waste management, electricity and communication. As a citizen of the city making this dream come true for Haldia as Smart City is quiet achievable.
