The main reason for poverty and other economical as well as social problems in our country India is over population. Chinese population has taken a decline course and I think if India implements plans to reduce population by creating awareness in a large scale, our population might decrease by a considerable amount leaving more resources for development.

i have read that the indian government has been importing asbestos from canada for many years. many australians in australia died from exposure to asbestos and some still suffer terribly from mesothelioma. why is the indian government importing a product that makes poor indians suffer and die from this poison? dont poor indians suffer enough or is this a method of their population control? i would appreciate a reply.

PSU,PSE have good hospitals. Once in a week this should be open to poor patents within the vicinity. This can come under CSR. A new scheme can be evolved. This will help in removing the HAWKS in the slum cluster >more...

i worked in india and now i work in australia. here is my view from afar for your government to consider and i would appreciate reply. boost family planning: by increasing the incentives to have 2 children (3 in the case they still crave for a child of the opposite sex) especially among the poor. indian parents cannot go on populating like rabbits just because they have the freedom(unlike china) to do so, but to take responsibilities for their children plight.

Create community meditation centers and make it mandatory for people to participate in at least once a week meditation session. It is sad that west is copying our systems at war footing and we are not able to make use of them.

Not only should DD be used (the good credentials of LS and RS TV notwisthstanding) but pvt regional and national channels should also be used since the the message has to filter through to the urban educated population as well. Modiji is attempting to create a good relationship with the media. This relationship should be effectively used to transmit the govt's key messages on Panachayati Raj and Swachch Abhiyaan, etc

Respected PM, In my view, root cause of all problem in India is the rate of increase of population. Many hands start snatching limited / available food, shelter, health, accommodation, increasing pollution, deforestation, resource consumption, poverty.... list is endless. So strict family planning should be one of the next top agenda for my dream India. Can you please add this to your top priority?. - Indudhar, Sr. IT professional, Bangalore.

As go green movement ,It would if we start to use banana leafs or similar as a plat & cup in serving food in public places . we can save water for washing , higyne maintenance food & remain out thro away part can be served to cows, buffalo's,goats. This way some of the food probm. for animals can also go away.

I have two points to cover. India lives in its villages and people depend on indigenous medicines for their health needs. Unfortunately even Ayurveda is not supported in the matter of health insurance. It is high time that the government pushed the insurance industry to provide insurance cover in case of Indigenous treatments also. Secondly it is time that more R & D is conducted in the indigenous systems of medicines. For this also the Indian government has to take some initiative.

Short but powerful messages should be created using Swacch Abhiyaan brand ambassadors. Aamir Khan, Salman , Amitabh, Vidya Baalan are already some well known and well liked faces who can convey the message effectively. More in depth documentaries by respected and committed journalists like Srinivasan Jain, Shoma Chaudhary, Madhu Kishwar can be broadcast to demonstrate the effectiveness of the govt's programs.
