India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

its my humble request to modi ji to plz ask farmers to grow fruits on a small patch of their fields which will help the prices get down. also, in planned cities like greater noida, trees are grown of the breeds that are useless.. instead of these costly imported breeds, government should grow trees like peepal, neem, badd etc... our environment will be so much better

For Clean India, segregating waste is quite an important aspect to be able to recycle waste. When I was in Bangalore in my building it was a rule, and they put a special recycling plant, and same to be done at national level. When I was in UK, every single household had 3 bins for different types of waste for easy recycle.

Mr PM, this evening I had a gas service from HP Gas, and I was suggested to change burner, seeing a single woman I have been charged double than the actual cost. I feel all service provider should have a printed price list for all services, so that women living alone are not taken for granted or get cheated.

Curbing Menace of Drugs among Youth, Respected Modi ji following are my suggestions w.r.t. curbing drug usage by youth in our country: (1) Religious gurus in country may be requested to take up this issue. (2) Drugs nowadays are mainly sold outside colleges/universities (by pan-cigarette walas) in connivance with the local police. Necessary controls may be placed in this regard. (3) Every university / college should have a anti-drug usage counseling unit/cell.
